About Joan Roberts
Born in St. Louis, I grew up with Midwest values that have guided me successfully throughout my career. After obtaining a Masters in Education at Tufts University in Massachusetts , I moved out to California where I lived for 30 years. My career there focused on Marketing and Public Relations which included positions of Conference Center Manager and Marketing Coordinator for major builders.
In 2012 I moved to the beautiful community of Ashland where I decided to become a real estate agent. My prior career has had many real-estate-related aspects and I am now very knowledgeable about Ashland and the surrounding areas. I really enjoy connecting with people and am passionate about helping them fulfill their dreams. I am keenly aware that buying or selling a house is an important and emotional decision. Whether helping a client find their dream home, helping sellers maximize the return on their current home, or dealing with investment property, I will take the necessary time to sit down with my clients to identify their real estate goals and develop a strategic plan to achieve each objective. I will make every effort to work closely with them in a calm and supportive way so that that the experience is a positive one. On a personal note, I love going to theater, concerts, biking, hiking, painting, reading and playing my ukulele with fellow musicians. I am currently a member of the Rotary of Lithia Springs, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, International Film Festival, Southern Oregon Ukulele Players (SOUP), New Plays Festival and American Association of University Women.
